Mrs. Deena Mehta, Director of Asit C.Mehta Investment Interrmediates Limited (Trading Member of the Exchange), has been an outstanding figure of power in the financial world. With her vast amount of experience in areas of Banking, Finance and Capital Markets, she has rendered valuable services to the Exchange by serving as an active member on various committees, including the SEBE committees related to the Secondary Stock Market. Her monumental ascent in the field of finance can be traced to the time when she became the First Woman President of the Bombay Stock Exchange prior to corporatization. Additionally, Deena Mehta has served as a member of the Board of Directors of organizations like Cotton Association of India, Board of Central Depository Services (India) Limited and National Payment Corporation of India. Currently, she is an Executive Member of South Asian Federation of Exchanges (SAFE), a Federation of Stock Exchanges in SAARC Region. She is also a visiting faculty on "stock markets" at leading Institutes like IIM (Ahmedabad).
