Alternate Investment Fund

The standard mix of any financial products generally comprise of a mix of fixed income and equity. Fixed income focuses on predetermined return for limited risk while equity is for high return for high risk. A select class of investor, is generally willing to take much higher risk for returns, higher than even the equity. In this case, a fund manager comes up with an exotic, non-standard business idea, which requires huge capital, huge risk appetite, and deep understanding of various dimensions of that business idea. This is called Alternate Investments funds (AIF) Overall, these are meant not for pure retail investors, but for HNI and super HNIs.

SEBI has formulated guidelines for AIFs, which act as a regulatory mechanism for disciplined behaviour by fund managers. Our group deals with AIF fund managers, assesses their proposals, and offers their products to the HNIs, if they look interesting.

A registered investor of investmentz.com, if interested can also express interest in AIF and we will serve them offline.
